Dragon Trail Event Hire was founded by a team who knows what it’s like to be out in the elements, building something from the ground up. For years we ran major outdoor events across Australia — mountain bike races, trail runs, remote adventure weekends, and music festivals in places you’d never expect a marquee to stand.
We’re not a massive warehouse — and we don’t want to be. Dragon Trail Event Hire is a small, independent crew with gear that’s got character — not your standard white marquees and folding chairs. We have solid, road-tested equipment and a genuine care for how your event turns out. Whether you’re running a community festival, setting up a paddock party, or hosting a corporate retreat in the hills, we’ve probably faced the same challenges you are.
From stretch marquees and portable stages, to event lighting, PA systems, and thoughtful extras like charging stations and rustic bars — we’ve got you covered.
So why the name Dragon Trail?
We created and delivered one of Tasmania’s most iconic stage races — the Dragon Trail MTB — That event’s no longer on the calendar, but its spirit is still in everything we do. The name stuck. The gear evolved. And the passion for events lives on.
